A group for the STAR Touring Chapter 218 on their way to STAR days decided to take a ride on the Tail of the Dragon (US 129 - 11 Miles, 318 Curves). The trip down was an adventure, but the ride on the dragon was great. It was foggy initially, but cleared up to nice sunshine and warm tempratures (mid upper 80's by lunch). The ride was done early in the morning, and we were joined by members of the Long Island Chapter.
